Our company is looking for a Financial Assistant to join our finance team. This person will report to the Assistant Controller, and will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing general accounting duties
  • Preparing monthly reports
  • Maintaining the general ledger
  • Coding invoices
  • Reconciling accounts and reporting any discrepancies found in the records
  • Aiding outside auditors 
  • Filing required tax forms with government agencies
  • Working with vendors
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred but not required
  • Knowledgeable in accounting procedures
  • Organized with good attention to detail, and an ability to spot numerical errors
  • Possesses a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
  • Flexible with changing priorities
  • Excellent communicator, both spoken and written
  • Computer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office Software

This person will report to the Quality Manager. An important part of this role is to support supplier development by performing PPAP layouts, assisting with supplier sorts, and communicating with suppliers regarding issues. Other responsibilities include helping resolve internal quality issues by working with the production and engineering teams, and support supplier visits when any corrective actions are needed. The ideal candidate will have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; always dedicated to the highest quality standards.

SUMMARY

Indirect stock entails all of the small pieces we need behind the scenes to make our factory function. We are searching for an Indirect Stock Clerk to manage this stock room. Much like managing a small store, the Indirect Stock Clerk will receive and manage materials, maintaining a FIFO (First-In, First-Out) process. The clerk will ship parts to vendors for repair and follow all company processes for stock management.

Candidates must be able to multi-task, have strong communication skills, and able to count and handle small to large parts. This person must be detail-oriented and able to read and fill out paperwork. Must be able to use Excel and Word, and capable of learning our MRP System.

The ideal candidate is a fun, team-player who can also be firm and ensure that other team members follow necessary protocols when inventory is taken and returned.

This person must hold a High School Diploma or GED and one to two years production, shipping, receiving, or inventory management experience.

This is a 2nd shift position. The hours are 3:00pm-11:00pm. The candidate must be willing to work flex shifts to cover for other Indirect Stock Clerks. This role starts at $20.00/hr and has amazing benefits, outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.

· Post daily indirect stock issues.

· Receive, stock, and post indirect material.

· Maintain FIFO

· Perform indirect cycle counts.

· Ship parts for repair to vendors

· Ensure the preservation and storage of all materials, parts, and supplies

· Organize and maintain an orderly stockroom

· Follow company policies and procedures

· Maintain and provide a safe work area and work in a safe manner.

· Submit suggestions for improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a solid work ethic and the ability to work in a repetitive, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the willingness to come to work every day and on time.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Basic Math skills a must: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Machine operators and assembly staff are responsible for making and assembling steering components such as ball joints, tie rods, and stabilizers. The ideal candidate enjoys learning new things, working on their feet, constantly moving, and problem solving. This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday, with occasional weekend overtime.

Candidates must be diligent about safety protocols and quality standards. We have a comprehensive on-the-job training program, so you don’t need previous manufacturing experience or specific education. You just need a strong work ethic, great attitude, and ability to multi-task.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Measures and inspects parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Sets up and operates assembly lines or numerical control equipment.
  • Feeds or removes material from machines.
  • Removes material from boxes and places on conveyor or in fixture.
  • Observes and listens to machine operation to detect malfunctions.
  • Notifies Team Leader or Supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Attaches fixtures according to setup instructions.
  • Completes line PMs (planned maintenance) as assigned.
  • Confirms that all “mistake proofing” devices are operational.
  • Maintains and provides a safe work area and work in a safe manner.
  • Completes hourly checks to ensure parts meet Quality Specifications.
  • Submits suggestions for improvements.
