Join our team in Brewer, Maine as an Intern

Primarily support the finance and accounting departments while also providing assistance with executive administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, proficient attention to detail, and the ability to handle varying responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment verification.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as requested.
  • Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve finance-related queries.
  • Assist with executive assistant tasks as needed
  • Assist in organizing company events and meetings as required. Qualifications:
  • Working towards or current holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in a finance or accounting role is advantageous.
  • Proficiency/experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, iMaintenance, iDashboards).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
