Yes. Somic America, Inc is a subsidiary of Somic Ishikawa, which is located in Hamamatsu, Japan. Somic has been in business for over 100 years. We are part of a global network with factories in 12 different countries. It isn’t uncommon for our team members to travel to Europe & Asia to learn from our partners.

No. Somic America provides on-the-job training opportunities for entry level positions. There are opportunities for career development including tuition reimbursement. Many of our executive leaders began their careers on the factory floor.

1^st shift: 7:00am-3:00pm with a paid lunch

2^nd shift: 3:00pm-11:0pm with a paid lunch and $2 hourly premium

3^rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00am with a paid lunch and $2 hourly premium
