Sales Program Manager (Chassis/Motion Control)

SUMMARY

We are looking for a qualified Sales Program Manager. This position is primarily responsible for developing and managing program activities, including master schedules, milestones, and KPI management, both internally and per customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Model APQP Management / Changepoint APQP Management

· Participation and approval of corporate level Feasibility studies/iPCR approval

· Lead manufacturing team program management activities from new business – Major Model or iPCR Issuance – Change Point material localization/sourcing changes and new equipment management

General Manager of Quality Assurance

This position of General Manager of Quality Assurance will be a dynamic and experienced individual. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance efforts across multiple plants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of quality assurance, with a proven track record of success in managing quality programs in a manufacturing environment.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures across all plants to ensure compliance with AIAG and ISO industry standards and regulations.

· Provide leadership and guidance to plant quality teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

· Conduct regular audits and inspections of plant operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and drive process improvements.

· Manage the resolution of customer complaints and quality-related issues, ensuring timely and effective responses.

· Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of plant personnel in quality assurance practices.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality assurance, and proactively recommend initiatives to enhance our quality management systems.

· Support new product launches and process improvements by providing quality assurance expertise and guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

SUMMARY:

Develops, implements, and coordinates quality management system which complies with SAI’s current Quality Standard certification, to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Analyzes, evaluates and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of the management team. Ensures compliance to customer requirements, monitors customer scorecards and customer portals. Proposes quality objectives/goals/targets to the management team at the start of each fiscal year. Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities. Cooperates with other management personnel in formulating company policies, operating procedures and goals. Develops Quality program to delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements and operational procedures within the program. Evaluates contents of reports from Quality department and confers with management personnel preparatory to formulating fiscal budget for Quality department. Conducts management meetings with Quality department to establish, delineate and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures. Issues Corrective/Preventive Action Requests and guides teams to solve problems with manufacturing. Verifies and approves Corrective/Preventive Actions taken. Visits and confers with representatives of material and component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality, capacity of vendor to meet orders and vendor quality standards. Reviews technical and quality publications, articles and abstracts to stay abreast of technical and quality developments in industry. Supports Purchasing and APQP Coordinator as necessary, including PPAP approval, and new product development. Maintain and provide a safe work area and work in a safe manner. Submit suggestions for improvements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises four to nine employees in the Quality Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Production Control Assistant

SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe handling of incoming and outgoing material. Support the leadership of the personnel assigned to the shipping and receiving dock, which includes training, direction of task, safety, and kaizen opportunities. Works close with the PC support team, production, quality, and engineering support staff. Needs to understand all facets of the shipping and receiving for accurate and timely customer shipments. Ability to train others to support all activities within the PC area.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a Second Shift Shipping/Receiving Operator at our Brewer, Maine manufacturing plant. Main responsibilities will be preparing customer shipments daily. The ideal candidate enjoys learning new things, constantly moving, and problem solving. This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday from 3pm to 11pm. Candidates must be diligent about safety protocols and quality standards. We have a comprehensive on-the-job training program, so you don’t need previous manufacturing experience or specific education. You just need a strong work ethic, great attitude, and ability to multi-task.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned. Prepares customer shipments for service parts, export and other shipments: staging, strapping, wrapping and labeling. Maintains traceability by using AIM to scan to shipment or logging lot numbers on shippers per Customer Standardized Work Instructions. Verifies pallets staged for shipment. Sorting of returnable packaging coming back from customers logging all tote and pallet quantities on the Daily Tote/Pallet Tracking log. While sorting, conduct an inspection to ensure all packaging is in compliance with customer standards. Loads outbound and unloads inbound materials onto or from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves. Checks in inbound raw material, assigns lot numbers in AIM, and prepares for incoming inspection. Moves inspected raw material to stock. Coordinates with Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to complete PM activities that ensure supplies are readily available. Sorting out mixed skids of components and applying correct AIM receiving lot numbers. Printing of Kanban labels and customs invoices for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers. Operates industrial fork truck, cart or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Perform daily forklift battery pm and fill out the truck log. Transports machined housings, plated housings, and finished goods to appropriate storage areas. Ensures raw material and Finished Goods FIFO (first in / first out) is maintained. Utilizes standardized work documents to ensure proper procedures for staging and receiving are being followed. Responsible for communicating shipment concerns to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor or PC Manager to assure 100% on time delivery is maintained

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a solid work ethic and the ability to work in a repetitive, fast-paced environment. Must have the willingness to come to work every day and on time. Fork Truck Operator experience a plus.
